Grants and funding

Funding support for your project

The National Landscape offers a range of grants that can help you to deliver your environmental and community schemes. Your project must lie within or very close to the boundary of the National Landscape, deliver benefits for the designated area, and demonstrate a clear link with the priorities set out in our Management Plan.

Sustainable Development Fund

Funding to support projects that support a more sustainable way of living in, working in and visiting the National Landscape, while conserving and enhancing its natural beauty.

Access for All

Funding for physical, on-the-ground and digital and virtual infrastructure improvements that make the National Landscape more accessible for people of all ages and abilities and from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Farming in Protected Landscapes

Funding for farmers and land managers for projects which help nature recovery, tackle the impacts of climate change, provide opportunities for people to discover and enjoy the landscape, and protect the quality and character of the area.

The programme has now been extended and applications are invited for projects in Cannock Chase National Landscape that can be delivered from April 2026 to March 2029.

30by30

Funding for large-scale nature projects which support the National Landscape’s contribution to the Government’s commitment to protect 30% of our land for nature by 2030 (30by30).
