Our Joint Committee

Joint Committee

The work of Cannock Chase National Landscape is guided and overseen by a Joint Committee comprising Councillors from each of the five local authorities that cover the area, together with non-voting officers and representatives from community and user groups.

A Chair and Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee are appointed annually by the local authority Councillors at an AGM each July.

The Joint Committee meets three times a year and meeting papers and minutes are published. Meetings are open to the public, and questions from the public can be received in advance.

The framework for governance is published in the Partnership Agreement 2016, and signed by the five constituent local authorities.
